Kim Ramos, Joins The Bank of San Antonio Mortgage Team

With fifteen years of experience in the mortgage industry, Ramos is excited for the continued growth of San Antonio, as it means new opportunities for a city that is expanding but always stays true to its roots. She shares on her career journey, her hobbies outside of work, and what excites her most about her new role at the bank.

What is your experience and career background?

I started my career originating home equity loans back in 2006 at USAA, and, in 2008, transitioned to the mortgage department where I worked until 2017. In 2018, I joined the Broadway Bank mortgage team as a VP Loan Officer, where I primarily supported the private bank division and their clients, specializing in MD, Professional, and one-time close construction loans.

What is your specialty professionally, and how do you serve your clients through your position at The Bank of San Antonio?

My specialty is working with private banking clients, but serving all clients of the bank is truly my passion. I am a top 10 mortgage loan producer in San Antonio, so working to make sure that deals are done efficiently is how I strive to serve the clients who trust me with their mortgage process.

What are your activities and hobbies outside of work?

My activities include spending time with my husband and three girls, traveling, and watching my daughter play hard on the soccer field.

What inspires you about working with mortgage clients in the San Antonio market?

San Antonio is growing at such a rapid pace, but maintains a small-town feel, and that is such a unique quality when you consider that we are the second largest city in Texas. There is so much opportunity to build relationships, both personally and professionally, and although rush hour feels like an all-day event these days, the potential to bring in new clients is exciting. Growth means new opportunities.
